Dane is a Senior Client Director and a certified assessment feedback coach who is aligned with the firm’s Assessment, Succession and Leadership & Professional Development practices.
Dane empowers College Pro clients to unleash the potential of their people using College Pro’s industry-leading talent insights and applications to generate sustainable growth. He is a consultative relationship manager who has evangelized the use of technology to better manage talent and optimize performance for twenty-five years.
Dane works with College Pro clients to help them design optimal organizational structures, roles and responsibilities. He empowers them hire the right people and advises them on developing professionals as they navigate and advance their careers. He also engages with individual leaders to deliver College Pro assessment feedback that builds self-awareness and a plan for self-development.
Possessing deep knowledge of College Pro’s best-in-class Success Profiles and underlying IP, its suite of assessments, and its leadership and professional development capabilities, Dane helps clients answer their most pressing talent questions: What talent do we need? What talent do we have? How do they close the gaps?
Prior to joining College Pro, Dane represented several of the world’s leading talent development firms including Skillsoft, Accenture and Kaplan. In these roles he partnered with many of the world’s most effective, dedicated and innovative HR leaders at some of the most influential (and sometimes troubled) organizations in the world. He also had his own practice designing and facility learning cohorts for busy leaders.
Dane holds a BA from Whittier College and a certificate in Designing Interactive Multimedia Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University. Mr. Cannon is certified in College Pro’s Leadership Architect competency framework and College Pro 360 survey, as well as the CP4D Leadership Solution, Learning Agility and Potential assessments. Mr. Cannon began his career as a 9th-grade English teacher at Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood CA where he earned a Klingenstein Fellowship for outstanding teachers at Teachers College.
